Case studies we have collected

Gathered from nine of our own research files and put in one place for the first time. Every card says who wrote it and whether the link has been checked.

2,327Case studies
1,000Brands
524Checked links

Every one of these was already in our own files. Nothing here is a number we measured: where a case study reports a result, that result is the publisher's claim, and the link is there so it can be checked rather than taken. 524 carry a link somebody has already checked. A further 1,043 carry a page a search found for them, marked Not checked and never called the source: we measured that search against case studies whose real link we already had, and it lands on the right write-up about seven times in ten. 92 carry a picture, which is either a frame of the campaign film or an image off the write-up itself.

What each file is, and what its grade was measuring

Our proof catalogue, with the numbers
Numbers here were gathered by an agent and are not independently audited. Check the source before quoting.
Pulled out of our own research reports
No standing caveat on this file.
Agency case studies, scored
Graded high-intent scoring, on whether the METRICS check out.
Agency case studies, every number chased
Graded high-intent verification, every number chased to a page.
Why the brand hired an agency
Graded agency-reasons audit, on whether the ROADBLOCK is proven.
Regulated shelves
No standing caveat on this file.
Read out of our research, brand and number checked
Read out of our own research by a model, with the brand and the number checked against the source text. Nobody has read the original page it describes.
Our own analysis, off our deal records
Graded our own build, on whether the number is a proxy or measured. Our own analysis of a campaign we did not run. Every number is a behavioural proxy or a self-reported figure, never audited.
Celebrity deals, with the money
Graded celebrity-examples, on how hard the SOURCE is (a filed contract beats a press report).
